Explore the world of cut paper collage in this all-day workshop and delve into a simple, yet effective process that will open you to a range of possibilities. Using just scissors, paper, and glue, we will explore the creative possibilities as we experiment with a variety of challenges and exercises designed to push you out of your comfort zone and into a stronger understanding of composition and visual communication. Have fun exploring your creativity as you cut and glue all day long!

We will meet live through Zoom, but the workshop will be recorded for anyone who cannot make the scheduled time or who wants to revisit the class.

This is a pay-what-you-can workshop, so please select what you would like to pay below. Once you purchase the workshop, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam and junk folders, and make certain that you have added my email address to your address book to ensure that you receive future emails from me. Approximately one week before the scheduled class time, I will email out a link to the Zoom Meeting that we use the day of the class.

Supplies Needed:

  • Scissors

  • Glue Stick (UHU Glue Stick recommended)

  • Backing paper or board — With many of the activities, we will be working small, so 3.5in x 5in or 4in x 6in paper would be perfect. I love working on index cards. Later in the day, we will be working a bit bigger, so 6in x 8in or 8in x 10in paper would be perfect. Mixed media paper like Strathmore 400 series mixed media paper will work well, but card stock or heavy drawing paper will work as well. If you want something thicker, illustration or mat board can be used.

  • Colored paper — A variety of colored paper. I love the solid colored card stock from Michaels, but feel free to use painted paper, construction paper, scrapbook papers, and/or any other colored or patterned papers.

What you get:

  • Access to the live Zoom class plus the recorded Zoom class to revisit anytime once the class has ended

  • Access to the private Journal Fodder Junkies Online Workshop group to share work, ask questions, and get feedback

  • Email and direct message support

Refunds and Cancellations:
