Drawing for Everyone, Sat, Oct 19, 2024, 11AM-6PM EDT

from $20.00

Saturday, October 19, 2024, 11am-6pm, EDT

Do you wish to draw more or draw better, but feel intimidated? Do you often feel that only highly realistic drawing that looks like a photograph is good drawing, and you don’t have the skill or patience? Then this all-day workshop might be just what you need. Drawing is a vital tool for any artist, but too often, we get caught up in misconceptions about drawing and what “good” drawing is.

Come explore some simple, yet effective drawing techniques and see the many possibilities that drawing has to offer. Using some simple drawing materials, we’ll explore some simple observational drawing techniques that will have us looking more closely at the world around us, and we’ll be drawing from our imaginations and using some basic mark making techniques that will have us experimenting and playing with our materials. so, come have fun exploring what drawing and sketching can add to your artistic repertoire!

We will meet live through Zoom, but the workshop will be recorded for anyone who cannot make the scheduled time or who wants to revisit the class.

This is a pay-what-you-can workshop, so please select what you would like to pay below. Once you purchase the workshop, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam and junk folders, and make certain that you have added my email address to your address book to ensure that you receive future emails from me. Approximately one week before the scheduled class time, I will email out a link to the Zoom Meeting that we use the day of the class.
